Mods (short for modifications) are anything that changes Prison Architect's game content from what it originally was. Mods are becoming increasingly popular and in-depth, adding whole new experiences and goals to the game.

Purpose of mods[edit]

Most mods in Prison Architect add content to the game to alter gameplay, change the creative feel, or give the player more options in how they interact with the game. Here are some mods found:

Audio Mods - Changes the original audio with other audio

Grants Mod - Gives you more grants

Gameplay Mod - Changes the way the game is played

Objects Mod - More objects

People Mod - More types of peoples

Scenario Mod - Another tutorial that teaches you on how to deal disasters

Translation Mod - Switches to another language
