Rooms are areas of space dedicated to a certain purpose.
Some Rooms can Only be sectioned whilst inside walls.
Rooms that have a red icon are prisoner related, a green icon means they are staff and work related and the orange icon means they are related to things that the prisoners can do or work in.

Cell

A Cell is a room to hold a Prisoner, these are handy if you only have a few Prisoners. If you are starting a new Prison and/or have a very low budget it is recommend to use Holding Cells.
The Cell is fairly basic and will at the least cost $300 ($200 for a Bed and $100 for a Toilet) and cost $1,150* for a 2x3 cell with surrounding Walls ($50 x 13 = $650), a Bed ($200), a Toilet ($100), and a Jail Door ($200). *Not including utilities for electricity and water.

Holding Cell

A useful early game room capable of holding multiple prisoners at once. Generally only useful before you can afford to make private cells.

A cell where prisoners who have committed Misconduct are placed for said Hours.

Visitation

A room for prisoner to meet their family and friends.

Canteen

A Room where prisoners will go to during Lunch.

Kitchen

A Room where Chef will cook food to serve to Prisoners, they can also cook their own food

Cleaning Cupboard

A Room that allows prisoners to be used as cleaners using the deployment tool. It will also store Bleach.

Shower

A Room where Prisoners will take showers.

Construction Requires

  • Can be contructed on open spaces

Yard

A Room in which Prisoners will wander at Yard Time.

Optional

  • Water grids to prevent floods

Storage

A Room where left-over materials will be moved to.

Deliveries

A Room where Supply Trucks will drop off items.

  • To have at least one square directly adjacent to the provided pavement/road (failure to do this causes the delivery truck to drive past endlessly, never stopping)

Garbage

A Room where Garbage is left, then loaded onto a empty Supply Truck.

Execution

A Room where prisoners marked for Death shall be ridden of their lifes. Doesn't work except for in tutorial

  • 1x Electric Chair

Workshop

Allows for Prisoners to be used to produce licence plates. Automatically sells all finished license plates at 12:00 A.M. Sells for $10 per license plate.

Security

Serves no purpose as the game is in alpha. As such it is just a waste of space for now.

Office

A Room where Wardens, Chiefs, Psychologists, Accountants and Lawyers claim and wander around in.

A Room where doctors will heal Prisoners, Wardens and other Workers.

Morgue

A Room where Dead Prisoners, Wardens and other Workers rest.

Common Room

A Room where Prisoners will go during Free Time.
